BCM International, Ireland,
(formerly Bible Club Movement),
has developed a teacher training program called,
“In Step With the Master Teacher"
The course is designed to provide a Biblical foundation and teaching skills for children’s ministry. Whether your children’s work is church related or outreach oriented, and whether your teachers are new to the ministry or veteran teachers, the course can be a benefit to them.
In Step With the Master Teacher contains 21 workshops, each approximately 60 minutes long. Churches can customize their workshop selection according to their needs, or they can take the course in its entirety and earn a teaching certificate.
The majority of workshops are hosted by Newbridge Bible Fellowship Church, because it’s centrally located in the midlands (and also because it’s my home church!), but In Step With the Master Teacher can be taught anywhere! A Multiplying Ministry
BCM’s teacher training program, In Step With the Master Teacher, is a
multiplication ministry.Its goal, to “Help Children Come to Know, Love
and Obey God” is not just Irish, but international! It has a “Kingdom
Perspective”: HIS Kingdom!And it’s growing!
Teacher Training:
8 students graduated in December
2 graduated in May, 3 working toward graduation
Train the Trainer – training trainers to teach ISMT!
5 new trainers in May!
We now have trainers from counties Clare, Laois, Kildare, and Dublin!
One couple from Portlaoise is returning to South Africa and will be working
with BCM’s African director, Rev. Peters. Our Clare trainer teaches in Ireland
and the Philippines when she visits in the summer. Another teacher is preparing
to teach in Ireland and Nigeria!
Requests have come in from Tramore, Galway, and Cork for more training.
